This September The Box – Athens is hosting the screenings for the International Architecture Competition of Psarokokalo Interanational Short Film Festival.
The main subject of this year’s competition is the exploration of the connection between space and dancing. Let’s consider that the human body and its movement are what give life to architecture. Human motion as an expression of the soul. The most every-day usual movement, but also the most unexpected, spontaneous and sudden… Is it the space that defines the movement of the body, or the movement of the body and the anthropometric dimensions that define the space?
This year’s competition includes 5 short films from Greece, Belgium, Japan, Italy and the US and the programme was curated by architect/designer Mrs. Ersi Krouska. On Tuesday, September 20, after the end of the screenings at 19.00, a Q&A will follow with the films’ directors via Skype.
