Dimitris Giokas Painting Exhibition

Category
Painting

Lazy and peculiar, silver-haired Dimitris Giokas becomes upset every time someone suggests him that he should tie his shoelaces, put his cigarette out in an ashtray or, alas!, work.

He plays his piano and, lying in his own bed, records his observations on life and the world using markers. Only markers!

Up until today the only way one could experience the artist’s tongue-in-cheek humour and his psychedelic sense of reality was via his Facebook profile. Due to insistent public demand and our staff’s encouragement, we hosted his artwork “live” at The Box Venue between May 18 and 27, 2017.

The exhibition’s opening took place on Thursday, May 18 at 8:00pm.
